Szabi the baker, who taught half the country how to leaven during the pandemic of 2020 and passed on his love of baking to countless families, launched Panificio il Basilico, or Basil Bakery, in 2012, offering a long-aged selection of wild sourdough breads, seasonal small products and an ever-expanding range of puff pastry. Now boasting 7 shops, he is a regular at the World Pizza Championships and promotes home baking at his sold-out workshops.
